Yavapai County, Arizona — Yavapai County Official We are investigating a shooting that left multiple people injured in Ash Fork early Thursday morning.
Police began receiving 911 calls around midnight for reports of a “man with a gun” near Cook’s Trail.
At least two people suffered life-threatening injuries and were taken to the hospital for surgery, according to the Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office. One of his victims suffered a minor head injury.
According to the YCSO, more than 15 police officers responded to the scene, some of whom transported victims for treatment after ambulances had difficulty reaching the area.
A sweep of the scene reveals multiple weapons, numerous shell casings, and a bloodstain leading to a nearby house.
According to YCSO, multiple suspects have been questioned and the case is still under investigation.
