Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office Issues Community Notification on Sex Offender Relocation in Cordes Lakes, AZ | Prescott Valley Times local news

The Yavapai County Sheriff's Office is required to release the following information pursuant to ARS 13-3825, the Sex Offender Community Notification Law: The offender in this publication resides in an unincorporated area of ​​Yavapai County. Community notification is the responsibility of the Chief Law Enforcement Officer's Office with jurisdiction over the offender's place of residence. Notification must be given when a particular sex offender is released from an Arizona prison, accepted under an interstate compact, or released back into the community from a county jail. Offenders are classified into three levels: Level 1 (low risk to the community), Level 2 (moderate risk to the community), and Level 3 (high risk to the community).

The individual listed on this notice, Jeffrey Carl White, age 54, has been convicted of a sex offense that warrants community notification. This sex offender has notified the Yavapai County Sheriff's Office that he will be residing at 20835 E Larry Ln, CORDES LAKES, AZ 86333. At this time, this individual is not wanted by the Yavapai County Sheriff's Office.

On January 18, 1988, in Yavapai County, an 18-year-old offender was convicted of indecent exposure and sentenced to two years probation.

On September 19, 1988, an 18-year-old Yavapai County offender was convicted of lewd conduct and sentenced to one and a half years in the Arizona Department of Corrections. The victim was an underage female unknown to the offender.

On October 1, 1990, in Yavapai County, a 20-year-old offender was convicted of lewd conduct and failure to register and sentenced to 1.875 years in the Arizona Department of Corrections. The victim was an adult female who was not known to the offender.

This notice is not intended to increase fear; rather, the Sheriff's Office believes that an informed community is a safer community. It will not be tolerated for citizens to misuse this information to threaten, intimidate, or harass sex offenders.
