Yavapai County Superior Court Seeks Public Comment for Judge Pro Tem Applicants

The High Court welcomes public comment on applicants for the position of Judge Protem in Division A, which was vacated by Professor Emeritus Debra R. Phelan’s appointment to the newly created Eighth Division.

Division A Judge Protem contenders are Prescott’s Nathan Best and Chino Valley’s Danalyn Savage. Redacted copies of their resumes can be found at: https://courts.yavapaiaz.gov/superiorcourt/applicants.

Yavapai County Arizona Superior Court Judge John D. Knapper will consider comments received in deciding who to ask the Chief Justice of Arizona to appoint Judge Pro-Tem. This appointment is subject to the approval of the Yavapai County Board of Supervisors.

All written comments must be received by 12:00 pm on Friday, August 4, 2023. Anonymous comments are not considered.
