The High Court welcomes public comment on applicants for the position of Judge Protem in Division A, which was vacated by Professor Emeritus Debra R. Phelan’s appointment to the newly created Eighth Division.

Yavapai County Arizona Superior Court Judge John D. Knapper will consider comments received in deciding who to ask the Chief Justice of Arizona to appoint Judge Pro-Tem. This appointment is subject to the approval of the Yavapai County Board of Supervisors.
Comments can be sent by email. yavapaicourtadmin@courts.az.gov Or mail to Yavapai County Superior Court. C. Rolf Eckel, Court Administrator, 120 S. Cortez, #410, Prescott, AZ 86303. Include your name, phone number and email address in your message to allow us to follow you. Wait for clarification or additional information. All written comments must be received by 12:00 pm on Friday, August 4, 2023. Anonymous comments are not considered.
