Yavapai County Warming Center is Open

According to APS, there are many areas and communities around the Prescott area that will probably not have power until after 6 p.m. Access is becoming more difficult.

The Yavapai County Emergency Management Department, in partnership with the American Red Cross, has established a warming center at 6411 N. Robert Road in Prescott Valley, Arizona. The center is located in the Humboldt School District Administration Building near the intersection of Fain Road and Robert Road. We also have volunteers representing Animal Disaster Services at the same location to provide protection for small animals.

The shelter is open from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
