Yavapai County Workforce Development Board Invites Public Feedback on Local Workforce Development Plan for 2024-2028 | Prescott Valley Times local news







The Yavapai County Workforce Development Board has released a local plan for workforce development and is currently seeking public comment. The public comment period will run from Nov. 6 to Nov. 19, giving community members the opportunity to provide valuable feedback on the proposed plan.

The Local Plan outlines strategies and efforts to be implemented over the next four years to improve workforce development in Yavapai County. It addresses issues such as vocational training, education, and employment opportunities for local residents.

“This plan is critical to ensuring our workforce has the skills and resources needed to meet the demands of a growing economy,” said Corey Christians, Interim Executive Director of the Yavapai County Workforce Development Board. “This is a step.”
