Yavapai County Workforce Development Board Local Plan Draft 2025-2028

The Yavapai County Workforce Development Board has released a local plan for workforce development and is currently seeking public comment. The public comment period will run from Nov. 6 to Nov. 19, giving community members the opportunity to provide valuable feedback on the proposed plan.

The Local Plan outlines strategies and efforts to be implemented over the next four years to improve workforce development in Yavapai County. It addresses issues such as vocational training, education, and employment opportunities for local residents.

“This plan is critical to ensuring our workforce has the skills and resources they need to meet the demands of a growing economy,” said Corey Christians, Interim Executive Director of the Yavapai County Workforce Development Board. “This is a step.”

The public can access and comment on the plan through an online form. Comments may also be sent by mail to:

Public comment period notices are posted on various platforms, including the ARIZONA@WORK/Yavapai website and official social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram).

“We encourage all members of our community to participate in this process and provide input on how to best prepare our workforce for the future,” Christians said.
