YCSO notifies public of level two sex offender, Rafael Flesher

Rafael Flesher is considered a Level 2 sex offender with a moderate risk of reoffending.

YUMA COUNTY, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) – The Yuma County Sheriff's Office (YCSO) announced that they are reporting Level 2 sex offender Rafael Flesher to the community.

Rafael Flesher, 57, lives in the area of ​​Laguna Dam Road and County First Street in Yuma.

He was described as 5 feet 7 inches tall, 225 pounds, with gray hair and brown eyes, according to YCSO.

He is currently not wanted by the Yuma County Sheriff's Office.

According to YCSO, Flesher entered a plea agreement in May 2016 in Yuma County Superior Court, pleading no contest to one count of attempted sexual abuse of a child.

The victim was an 11-year-old girl he knew.

Flesher was sentenced to 10 years in prison in the Arizona Department of Corrections 1,337 days prior to sentencing.
