‘You Can’t Whine’: Joe Scarborough Ridicules Democrats ‘Complaining’ About Biden’s Candidacy

MSNBC's Joe Scarborough on his show Wednesday mocked Democrats who are “grumbling” and whining about President-elect Joe Biden's candidacy.

House Democrats Group request The Democratic National Convention (DNC) postponed a virtual roll call on Biden's nomination, citing “serious concerns” about his candidacy. Scarborough argued that all of the Democratic leaders and donors who are breaking with the president ahead of the election are supporting former President Donald Trump's campaign.

“Mika, at this point I'm wondering, do they want to keep complaining or do they want to start winning? They can't do both,” Scarborough said. “You can't complain, you can't whine. You either follow the quarterback in the huddle, no matter how flawed they may deem him, or you don't. If you don't, that's fine. They're basically making in-kind donations to J.D. Vance and Donald Trump,” Scarborough said, adding, “Has anyone seen anything that indicates Joe Biden has decided to step down?”

“No,” said co-host Mika Brzezinski. “People just keep asking.”

Nearly two dozen Democrats have called on Biden to drop out of the race following his disastrous defeat in the June 27 debate. The president has repeatedly refused to back out, claiming he was simply “not feeling well” and that he caught a cold during the debate. Scarborough initially suggested Biden should pull out the day after the debate, then abruptly walked off the air the following Monday as Brzezinski opened her show with a lengthy segment praising the president.

Polls have shown that voters have expressed concerns about Biden's age and mental clarity throughout his presidency. Traditional media, including “Morning Joe,” has largely downplayed these concerns, dismissing them as false claims spewed by Republicans and Democrats. Russia.

Liberal commentators have also publicly opposed Biden's reelection campaign. ABC News' George Stephanopoulos told an anonymous source shortly after interviewing the president that the president should not serve another four years, while NBC News' Chuck Todd revealed that a senior Cabinet official told him in 2022 that the president cannot run for reelection in his current mental state.
