Yuma County Board of Supervisors request abatement for zoning violations

Yuma, Ariz. (Kyma, Kecy) – The Yuma County Board of Supervisors is requesting property reduction through the intersection of Rancho Drive and Shadow Avenue.

The mitigation is due to zoning violations such as junk in your residence.

According to Carlos Gonzalez, the county’s assistant zoning inspector, property owners saw two cases in which hearings and violations were first launched mid-last year, and other cases began in 2020. It was there.

“This is one of the structures, one of the shade structures with no permission, junk and surgical vehicles in this case,” Gonzalez shared.

Gonzalez said there have been many attempts from the county, hoping the owner would clean his property.

“The hearings took place in two hearings on August 6th, closed on October 1st, and there were no defense attorneys in any of these hearings,” added Gonzalez.

The case will be referred to the county attorney’s office for light batement.
