Yuma County is pleased to announce that the swearing-in ceremony for county officials elected in the 2024 general election will be held on Monday, January 6, 2025 at 9:00 a.m. The ceremony will be held at 198 S. Main Street, Yuma, Arizona.
Yuma County Superior Court Chief Judge David M. Hawes will administer the ceremonial oath to the following elected officials:

- District 1: Martin Porchas
- District 2: Jonathan W. Lines
- District 3: Darren R. Simmons
- District 4: Marco A. “Tony” Reyes
- District 5: Lynn Pankraj
county office
- County Assessor: Stephen “Stevie” Seale
- County Attorney: Karolyn Kazorowsky
- County Recorder: David Lara
- County Schools Superintendent: Thomas C. Hart
- County Treasurer: David Alexandre
- Sheriff: Leon N. Wilmot
high court judge
- Division 1: Mark W. Reeves
- Division 4: David M. Hawes (Superior Court Judge Nelson administers the oath of Judge Hawes)
- Division 6: Nathaniel T. Sorenson
- Division 7: Darcy D. Weed
Following the ceremony, a small reception will be held in the lobby of the county courthouse to celebrate the occasion. The public is encouraged to attend and congratulate the newly appointed officials.
