Zelenskyy Meets with Trump’s Envoy in Casual Attire

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy was spotted wearing a T-shirt during a meeting with Keith Kellogg, a representative from President Donald Trump, as shown in footage shared on X.

It’s reported that the White House inquired whether Zelensky would consider filing a lawsuit following his meeting with Trump on Monday. A video posted by Anton Gerashchenko depicted Zelenskyy in a black T-shirt during the meeting. This gathering took place at a hotel near the White House.

Zelenskyy expressed gratitude for the meeting, highlighting its significance in terms of security assurance, particularly with the U.S. and Europe. He noted that the presence of major European leaders at the conference was appreciated.

Known for his preference for casual or military attire during diplomatic engagements, Zelenskyy was reportedly wearing the same black jacket he donned at the NATO summit in June. His choice of clothing has, in part, contributed to past tense moments, including an explosive exchange with Trump in February.

In a statement on social media, Trump suggested that Zelensky could potentially end the conflict with Russia if certain conditions were met, specifically regarding NATO membership and Crimea, which Russia annexed in 2014. Trump mentioned, “Ukrainian President Zelensky can close the war with Russia almost immediately if he wishes.”
