A woman who set sail to challenge Travis Ringenfelter in the next election cycle was informed she lived in the wrong district and, after confirming, quickly unplugged her future campaign. Kingman resident Teresa Boeglerd recently commented on opposing the chairman of the Mojave County Board of Supervisors in Valle Vista, and made a formal statement to the election office on April 25.
The problem is that Boegler lives in the Dist. 4. Lingenfelter resides on behalf of the Dist. 1. Boegler admitted Thursday morning to her school district residency error.
Boegler said he was dropping out of Dist. 1 Contest and she has her Dist.
Twenty-one other northwestern Arizona residents have already indicated their intent to qualify as candidates for various Mojave County elections. Each is seeking the Republican nomination in her August 2024 primary.
Valerie Medina is the latest person to call for a future county candidate in next year’s election cycle. She is now an executive at Dist and a former county registrar’s office employee where she serves as an assistant. 5 Supervisor Ron Gould has announced his intention to run for the County Recorder.
Chief of Staff Lydia Durst previously announced her candidacy for the same seat. Recorder Christy Blair will retire at the end of next year at the end of his term.
