Ticket prices for the fair have not changed since 2008. According to a Coconino County press release, the new admission prices reflect rising fair costs and reflect the event’s growth and current staffing needs.

Adult admission for all visitors ages 13 and older will increase from $8 to $10 in 2023. Seniors admission and military/veterans tickets will be $1 higher this year. Youth prices for children ages 5 through her 13 are set to remain the same until 2024, when they are subject to a $1 price increase. Children 5 and under are free to pass through the gates of Fort Her Tuthill.

The 2022 County Fair saw record ticket sales with more than 15,000 people visiting Fort Tuthill County Park in one day. The county isn’t just looking at raising prices in hopes of making the event more accessible.

In addition to raising fees, the county is also proposing to make parking free for fair attendees this year. In the past, visitors to animal barns and carnivals had to pay $5 per car to park.

By making parking free, the county hopes to make the historic family-friendly event more accessible. Even with the increased rates, we still offer promotions and coupons that can be redeemed at avid fairgrounds each July.
