About 7 in 10 voters who supported former United Nations Ambassador Nikki Haley in the New Hampshire primary were not Republicans, according to CNN exit polls.
Former President Donald Trump scored a record victory in the Iowa caucuses on January 15, winning the primary and winning New Hampshire by about 9 points, according to the Associated Press. CNN reporter David Chalian outlined which voters supported Republican candidates. “According to our exit polls, 70% of Trump supporters are registered Republicans,” Charian said. “Donald Trump, his supporters, 27% of voters are registered undeclared or unaffiliated, and 3% were unregistered to date.”

“Compare that to Nikki Haley. It's a complete reversal, a different world,” Charian continued. “70% of Hailey voters are registered undeclared, but only 27% are registered Republicans.”
Trump leads Haley by 19.3% according to RealClearPolitics average Opinion poll for the New Hampshire primary held from January 16th to January 22nd.
RealClearPolitics' average national poll shows Trump leading with 66.1% of the vote and Haley 11.5%, while Republican Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, who withdrew from the race on Sunday, led with 10.5%. It is in 3rd place.
Charian also targeted people who voted for President Trump while discussing separate exit poll results.
“We saw this when we asked people if Joe Biden legitimately won the 2020 election. He did,” Charian added. “80% of people who voted for Trump say no, they are wrong, and no, Joe Biden did not legitimately win the 2020 election. Dear Hailey Voters, That’s it. Quite the opposite: 83% of Hailey voters correctly said Joe Biden was the rightful winner of 2020. Only 15% of Hailey voters incorrectly said Joe Biden was not. Masu.”
“This is a Trump/Haley, Mars/Venus election in New Hampshire tonight,” Charian said.
