A left-leaning organization backed by Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg is promoting a $6 million election grant program from influential left-leaning nonprofits to “support local election officials,” The Federalist reported Friday.
The Center for Technology and Civic Life (CTCL) has reportedly instructed election officials to participate in the “More Responsive Government 2024 Grant Program” in partnership with the Institute for Responsive Government (IRG). “This new 'grant' program, the 'More Responsive Government 2024 Grant Program,' is just the latest scheme by a left-wing nonprofit network to use progressive activist billionaire money to influence election offices, implement left-wing election management agendas, and influence election outcomes,” Ned Jones, president of the Citizens' Center for Election Studies, told The Federalist. “These activities should be banned in all states, as they are already banned in 28 states.”
“We are sharing information about this program with you as we normally do about other bipartisan resources and funding opportunities that can help your work,” the email said.
