Shortly after taking the oath of office, President Donald Trump signed a flurry of executive orders, including mandating that the federal government recognize only two genders, male and female, and improving diversity, equity, and inclusion throughout the bureaucracy. (DEI) Some even terminated the program. In response to President Trump’s defense of accomplishments and anti-DEI remarks in his inaugural address, MSNBC host Al Sharpton said the following. announced On Monday, his nonprofit National Action Network announced it would boycott American companies that repealed their own woke policies. “President Donald Trump can’t force money to go to companies that aren’t willing to trade, commit, and continue with diversity, equity, and inclusion,” Sharpton said. said MSNBC colleague Joy Reid.
“What we said today is that companies that claim to support diversity, equity, and inclusion should therefore not have a diverse consumer base,” he continued.
Mr. Sharpton’s boycott announcement will be greeted with glee by the sinful white liberals who still watch MSNBC, but most Americans will roll their eyes. Many companies and U.S. companies have recently withdrawn from DEI policies, including Tractor Supply Company, John Deere, Scrapped Coors, Harley-Davidson, Ford, Lowe’s, and McDonald’s. Asking Americans to boycott Coors is like asking nuns to boycott Rosary; that will never happen. (Related: ‘We will be relentless’: One. Simple. DEI is dying, and so will businesses in this country as Americans break away from the social justice identity politics of the past decade that has divided the country. If there were to be a political boycott in Trump’s America, it would be against Sharpton, MSNBC, and all the rest of the companies that spread race-based DEI nonsense.
