Point In Time homelessness count takes place in Maricopa County

The 2025 annual point count took place on January 28th in Maricopa County.

This count helps officials understand more about the homeless population, demographics, and how quickly it is growing.

The count results will not be available until later this year, but in 2024, the Maricopa Government Association (MAG) reported that around 10,000 individuals had experienced homelessness.

The U.S. Agency for Housing and Urban Development estimates that the number is close to 14,000.
