“Donald Trump cannot pretend to be a person of character,” Christie said in the video. Posted Twitter after the speech. “This is the man who paid the porn star. This man is a regular liar. This is the man who abused the people who worked for him.”
Christie announced her presidential campaign on June 6 and attacked Trump for criticizing some officials who have served in the past.
“I came to this organization because I respect them,” Christie said. “I respect everyone in this room because they care about the country and they want to pick the best people they can. I’m not going to come and pander to them, but I’m going to say exactly what I think.”
“I knew there were a lot of Trump fans out there, and I knew they were likely to get booed,” Christie said. “But what do you know? I can assure you one thing. It’s not about telling.”
