Pinal County, Arizona. — Scottsdale-based Empire Group acquired his 27-acre land parcel in Pinal County from Galeb Cos. and Borgata Ventures for $13.8 million. The company intends to develop Village of Borgata, a construction rental community on a site located on the southwest corner of Hunt Highway and Thompson Road near the base of the Santan Mountains.
The gated community has 287 one, two and three bedroom rental homes ranging in size from 680 square feet to 1,300 square feet. Single-story homes offer modern design and finishes and include private landscaped backyards with doggie door access, smart technology packages, and security. Community amenities include a resort-style pool and hot tub, boardwalk, community clubhouse with kitchen, fitness center, BBQ area, and fire pit area.
Empire Group plans to break ground on the project in spring 2023, with leasing expected to commence by fall 2024. Village of Bortaga is part of the larger master-planned Bortaga, a 100-acre mixed-use commercial space development in Sant Tann. Apartments, condominiums, detached houses.
