EXCLUSIVE: Ad Campaign Targets Joe Biden For Massive Costs Resulting From Green Agenda, EV Push

A new digital ad campaign will roll out Thursday to highlight the additional costs associated with President Joe Biden's aggressive electric vehicle (EV) policy.

Consumers Federation (AFC), a nonprofit organization group The consumer protection company is running a campaign to draw attention to the hidden and obvious costs that the Biden administration's EV policies will ultimately impose on Americans. The ad is titled “Biden's Dream Garage” and depicts a series of things. sauceclaims that owning an EV can add up to $26,000 in additional costs per garage, before considering tax credits and other subsidies.

“This campaign shows the enormous costs that will fall squarely on the shoulders of ordinary people thanks to Biden’s EV push. When you see people buying because they want to, they've already decided it's worth the cost,” AFC Executive Director O.H. Skinner told the Daily Caller News Foundation. “Many consumers don't fully understand what this life will be like if Biden imposes this progressive lifestyle. If so, what does that mean? AFC's ad cites Kelley Blue Book and points out that EVs cost, on average, nearly $13,000 more than their internal combustion engine counterparts. The campaign also notes that installing a new outlet for EV charging can cost up to $2,500, and using additional power to charge an EV can increase utility bills by more than $700 annually. claims.

The ad states that because EV parts tend to be more expensive and relatively difficult to source, the average premium to insure an EV is about $1,300 more per year than the premium for a comparable internal combustion engine model. Tires also contribute to the increase in expenses, as EVs weigh more on average than gasoline-powered cars, so more durable and expensive tires need to be replaced more frequently, the ad says.

The campaign also draws attention to the hidden but expensive additional costs of installing insulation in your garage that doesn't retain enough heat when it's cold outside.Recent analysis Consumer Reports cited by AFC found that EVs parked in garages lose battery charge when ambient temperatures drop below 40 degrees Fahrenheit.

Insulating a garage with premium foam can cost consumers between $3,500 and $8,000, according to the ad.

Biden administration aims to popularize EVs 50% More than 100% of new car sales in the country by 2030 as part of a large-scale effort to combat climate change. The administration has created tax credits, promulgated aggressive regulations, and allocated billions of dollars to further the EV dream, but the market is losing ground as some proponents of these policies expected. It's not quite as shaped.

Consumer demand is not growing as quickly as expected, manufacturers are losing billions of dollars on their EV product lines, and management is starting to back away from short-term production goals.
