At no point in the interview did President Trump explicitly call for Cheney’s execution. The former president harshly criticized Cheney’s policy views and appears to have even suggested sending Cheney to war.

The former president reportedly continued to attack Cheney during the campaign, calling her a “disaster.” CNN.
Social media posts from Company X and Facebook allege that President Trump threatened to shoot Cheney during the sit-down interview. The former president apparently suggested “putting a rifle on her and shooting her with nine barrels,” while pointing “a gun…into her face.”
Current Vice President Kamala Harris reportedly condemned President Trump’s comments as “extreme” and called Cheney a “true patriot.” Associated Press.

At no point in the video does President Trump call for a firing squad or explicitly call for Cheney’s execution. There is no subsequent mention of the words “firing squad” or “execution” in the transcript of the interview on YouTube.
