What we know:
The crash happened just after 3pm Williamson Valley Road near Levy Lanenorthwest of Prescott.
At the scene, Yabapai County Sheriff’s deputies discovered the man and child had died. Another child died on the way to the hospital.
A third child and three adults are in the hospital.

“Preliminary investigations show that a driver identified as Chino Valley’s Jesse Forman drove three young children and mothers of children, driving a Toyota 4 Runner, colliding head-on with a Jeep SUV across the double line, carrying his ’60s and adult son.
What’s next:
The Sheriff’s Office is investigating whether the crash is caused by faults and speed.
“Traffic enforcement on Williamson Valley Road has been a priority for YCSO after recent public complaints. YCSO will continue to carry out more speed and driving enforcement in the area. The Sheriff’s Office will prioritize public safety and highlight areas within the county where reckless driving is known to be a problem,” the Sheriff’s Office said.
