Republican senators vying for majority leader vowed Sunday to meet President-elect Donald Trump’s demands ahead of Inauguration Day.

“Additionally, no judges should be confirmed during this period because Democrats are looking to ram the judges as Republicans fight for leadership,” the president-elect added. “This is unacceptable. Thank you!”
Scott answered President Trump’s announcement 6 minutes after posting.

Scott appeared on Fox News’ “Sunday Morning Futures” hours before Trump’s announcement to ensure Trump’s nominee is approved and his policies move forward. He vowed to bring “big changes” to the Senate.

Mr. Cornyn’s staff told the New York Times that he had already advocated for expedited appointments of President Trump’s nominees, but spoke out on social media after the president-elect made the request.
