Hunter Biden Claimed He Wanted A Public Hearing — Now House Republicans Give Him His Chance

House Republicans are giving Hunter Biden the opportunity to testify publicly on Capitol Hill after he previously expressed interest in such a deal, the Daily Caller reported.

Oversight and Accountability Committee Chairman James Comer on Wednesday named Hunter Biden, along with former business associates Devon Archer, Tony Bobulinski and Jason Galanis, according to a press release obtained by the Daily Caller. invited to testify. Standing outside the Capitol, the eldest son denied that his father had any involvement in his business dealings and said he intended to testify publicly, a statement his lawyer had previously made to the committee. Hunter Biden later agreed to testify privately on February 28th.

“Evidence produced in the House impeachment inquiry reveals that Joe Biden knew, participated in, and benefited from his family's use of Biden's name to profit. “Multiple witnesses have testified that Joe Biden allowed his family to sell him as a 'brand' around the world to enrich the Biden family,” according to a press release obtained by the Daily Caller. Comer said in the release.

During his Feb. 28 testimony, Hunter Biden said at least 29 times that he “does not remember” details of foreign transactions or meetings. “I am here today to provide the committee with one indisputable fact that should put an end to the false premise of this investigation: that I did not involve my father in my business.
