‘I’m Done’: Fulton County Resident Blasts Fani Willis For Prosecuting Trump

Fulton County residents criticized Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis at Wednesday's board meeting.

Derrick Blasingame spoke before the County Commission and went on a tirade against Willis, expressing concerns about taxpayer “mismanagement” and election interference.

“It's time for Fulton County to fumble with elections,” Blasingame said. “I am tired of the gross taxpayer mismanagement of this organization by the Fulton County Democratic Party.”

Blassingame said he was “disgusted” by Willis' alleged affair with Nathan Wade, who was hired by Willis to serve as special prosecutor in former President Donald Trump's election interference case.

“Your silence over the prosecutor's office's apparent affair with a special prosecutor and gross mismanagement of taxpayers to pursue what appears to be a frivolous lawsuit based on partisan politics is over.”

The special prosecutor's wife, Jocelyn Wade, previously accused her estranged husband of concealing hundreds of thousands of dollars in income and leaving her in “severe” financial hardship. “While the DA's office appears to be trying to protect past elections, information and belief indicate that they are trying to interfere with future elections by trying to convict candidates before the general election,” Blasingame said. .

Blassingame asked the county auditor to conduct a financial audit of Willis' office “immediately.” He said it was “impossible” that Mr Willis would “get more money” despite allegedly spending the money on “unnecessary and frivolous purposes”.
