‘It’s Up To You’: Video Shows Christian Preacher Barely Flinch At Gunpoint During Tense Street Encounter

The street preacher looked calm as a fierce passerby pulled something similar to his gun in San Francisco on Wednesday, according to the video.

Kevin Kihara of the California chapter of the Ministry of Forgiveness (CFM), a Canada-based non-denominational Christian ministry, spoke about freedom captured from a Christian perspective when the tension occurred, the video shows.

Kihara said, “I will try so hard, but you need to try and humble yourself, start to be the person that God has made you, you start to be the one that you do, and you need to try and humble yourself.

“He didn’t make men a woman. He made men a man! He didn’t make women a man, he made women a woman. And this is true!”

It was a man who was said to have been accused of silver hair and sports tattoos, striped t-shirts and denim overalls, standing on his ground, “What are you going to do – attack me now?”

The person then draws something similar to a gun from a white handbag, illuminating it on Kihara’s head, and appears to encourage the preacher to lean slightly backward, the video shows. “I should,” people seem to say. CFM claims that the person in the video is a man who identifies as a woman. “Hey, man, that’s up to you,” Kihara says as people take off on the video. “If you want to pull it on me –“

“Close Fuck!” video shows people replies to the person and move around to face a temporary giraffe.

“But God will bless you,” Kihara continues as people attack. “So you only threatened me with a gun, and you pulled it in my face. Man, the Lord has mercy on you!”

“If that’s true,” the commenter wrote. Secretary [sic] The example of not fearing death, men, things, etc. is because even if I die, I will live. ”

“Has he been charged with swinging a firearm around? [sic] And do you threaten him? Does he have permission for that firearm? ” asked another commenter.

Kihara went on to have a friendly encounter with another passerby who seemed to remember him from his previous street sermon encounter. According to the video, he told Hisato “You told me to be humble.”

Kihara’s encounters are one of the latest involving moments of tension. Street preacher Matthew Meinecke, who was arrested twice in 2022 for street sermons at Pride events and pro-aboration rallys, was kicked, kicked and abandoned in the toilet at Seattle Pride Rally in late June 2023.
