A grand jury handed up an indictment Tuesday in former President Donald Trump's 2020 election interference case.

new IndictmentThe lawsuit, filed in response to a July Supreme Court ruling that said a president cannot be prosecuted for official acts committed while in office, includes the same four charges as the original lawsuit, prosecutors said.

“This indictment, presented to a new grand jury that has never previously heard evidence in this case, reflects the government's effort to respect and implement the Supreme Court's decision and remand instructions in Trump v.
