Maricopa County Registrar Stephen Richer has proposed 12 laws to reform the state’s electoral process.
The proposals range from an early deadline for early voting, changes to campaign finance laws, and a nonpartisan county registrar.
Around the time of the election, many complained that the process was taking too long.

The difference now is that in this election the races were closer than in many previously seen in the state.
Richer said he could combat misinformation by providing 95% of the total results by election night, which would require early voting to end before Election Day and tallies to be counted. Should start sooner.
