‘No Point In It’: McCarthy Says Smith Ending Prosecution Proves Cases Were About ‘Preventing Trump From Winning’

Former federal prosecutor Andrew McCarthy said Friday that special counsel Jack Smith has proven that the prosecution of President-elect Donald Trump was intended as a political weapon.

“Their position is that the Department of Justice’s long-standing law firm is providing guidance.
