Popular Children’s Book Changed Character’s Pronoun, Parental Rights Group Apparently Finds

A custody group seems to have discovered on Wednesday that a popular children’s book appears to have had character pronouns changed.

According to a Youtube video released in 2020, the first page of the book originally read, “One day when a narwhal went swimming, he found himself in a new body of water.” Utah Parents United have noticed that “myself” has apparently changed to: “themselves”

Utah Parents United responded to parents’ concerns that “we” was a typo.

“This is classic bait and switch,” said Colin Johnson, director of public affairs for Utah Parents United, in another Facebook video. “And this is not a typo. This is a new edition, and the publisher has decided that through his three students he will introduce K. to his ideology of gender.”

The Daily Caller reached out to Kids Read Now, Utah Parents United and Tundra Books, the book’s publisher, for comment.
