The Biden administration is completely out of control and the American people are suffering the most.

Biden's regulations have imposed significant burdens on the American people in many ways, including reducing consumer choice and small business success. The current Administration has abused its authority to bring agency regulations into the United States.

President Biden has abused the Department of Energy’s authority to promote efficient energy use and production by setting unreasonable standards that result in extremely expensive appliances that are barely functional.

Additionally, President Biden's National Labor Relations Board would require corporations to be responsible for their franchisees in many ways, even though most corporations have a minimal role in the operation of their franchisees. This rule would force corporations into unnecessary intrusion into individual stores. The American franchise model has worked well for decades, but increased regulation would destroy it.

House Republicans are fighting hard against Biden's regulatory overreach and abuse of power.

Republican Representative Debbie Lesko introduced HR 6192, the Get Rid of Home Appliances Act, which would protect American families from the Department of Energy's unreasonable efficiency standards. This bill would ensure consumer choice and prevent further abuses by the Department of Energy. These unrealistic regulations have taken money out of Americans' already shrinking pockets for no good.

Biden and the NLRB's joint employer liability rule stifles small business growth and goes too far in America's franchise model, reducing job opportunities and raising consumer costs at a time when Americans cannot afford them.

Republican Congressman John James introduced HJ Resolution 98, which would repeal this rule, protect small businesses, and preserve the economically efficient franchise model. As expected, this bipartisan bill was vetoed by President Biden.

President Biden continues to put the interests of the American people last. As a lifelong small business owner, I understand the struggles of running a business and providing for a family. The last thing we need is more government involvement that makes everything even harder.

My Republican colleagues in the House of Representatives and I are tired of the Biden Administration's abuses of power, stringent regulations, and abuses of authority. We will continue to fight for American families and against abusive regulations.
