Steve Christy draws Democratic challenger Vanessa Bechtol in Pima County Board of Supervisors election

Pima County Supervisor Steve Christie has called a challenger for a third term on the Pima County Board of Supervisors. Democrat Vanessa Bechtle has filed papers to challenge the Republican incumbent in the 4th District.

“I'm running because I love my community and the prospect of engaging with them and working with them to get things done appeals to me,” Bechtol said. “There is so much more we can do to move Pima County forward by strengthening cooperation between the Board of Supervisors. I look forward to rolling up my sleeves and working hard on behalf of District 4.”
