‘That’s Actually A Very Good Book’: Liberal Commentator Defends Kids Books Depicting Graphic Sex Acts

Commentator Emma Vigeland defended explicit children’s books in an interview on Tim Pool’s show Friday night.

“You’re the one advocating censorship,” Vigeland said when Poole tried to hand her the book Gender Queer. The book depicts two people attempting oral sex with a strap-on. “Censorship is good, but bad things are bad,” says Poole.

“If we’re talking about books, there’s a teacher in particular who gave middle school students a book called ‘This book is gay.'”

“I’ve heard of it. It’s actually a very good book,” Vigeland said.

“And teach kids how to use adult gay anonymous sex apps. Yes, I don’t think that’s appropriate. Look, I’d love for you to agree –“

“Perhaps there were children in her classroom,” Vigeland interrupted. “Who—”

“Who would want to ride a Grindr and have sex with an adult? Is that your point?” Poole intervened.

“No, I didn’t say that!” Vigeland replied.

Mr Vigeland later accused Mr Poole of using “incendiary” “examples”, but said Mr Poole asked for them.

“I am not in favor of censorship,” Mr. Vigeland replied.

Florida schools removed more than 100 books containing pornographic content in the 2022-2023 school year. Books like ‘This book is gay’, ‘Genderqueer’, ‘Let’s talk about it’ and ‘It’s perfectly normal’ have been removed from classrooms. The book contains erotic scenes involving children and explicit depictions of sexual acts with minors.

The books removed from the library were so explicit that the live TV feed had to be interrupted as DeSantis read some of the books.
