“The scumbags who worked to convict him were the same lunatics who were responsible for the weaponization of modern government against me,” Trump added. “He was sentenced to two life sentences and 40 years in prison. Ridiculous!”
In May 2024, while on the campaign trail, Mr. Trump spoke at the Libertarian National Convention and announced on stage his promise to free Mr. Ulbricht if he won the general election in November.
