“So they didn’t learn any lessons from the first administration. I was hoping and praying that they learned the lessons. I hope they pass through… what did they do? They didn’t do anything,” he continued. “So they wake up… there’s a need for Republican senators and Congress to leave. They’re not doing the right thing so they have to vote.”

Republican lawmakers are seeking to provide more funding to immigration and customs enforcement (ICE) to accelerate Trump’s deportation agenda, among other priorities.
House Speaker Mike Johnson said in February that Congressional Republicans would codify Trump’s executive order to prevent future presidents from revoking his agenda.
