Wes Allen on Biden amnesty plan: ‘Radical and lawless’

Alabama Secretary of State Wes Allen denounced President Joe Biden's new plan to grant pardons. Thousands of illegal immigrants Currently residing in the US

“Today, Biden issued an executive order that provides massive amnesty to illegal immigrants currently residing in our country,” Allen said. “When you combine this with his previous executive order on voter registration, it's clear that Biden is trying to win the next election not by winning the support of legitimate American voters, but by legalizing illegal immigration.”

The president on Tuesday announced a plan to speed up the path to citizenship for hundreds of thousands of immigrants who have been in the United States illegally for more than a decade and are married to U.S. citizens.

“These couples have spent over a decade raising their families, sending their children to church and school, paying taxes and contributing to their country,” Biden said at the White House event. “We can fix this, and that's what I'm going to do today.”

Biden also announced new protections for DACA recipients.

Allen believes the plan is just another attempt to undermine Americans' right to vote.

“He will not stop with this executive order,” he argued. “He will continue to try to undermine the power of lawful Americans to vote. Biden and his administration are radical and lawless.”
