Yavapai County News – On April 1, 2024, the Chief Justice of the Arizona Supreme Court issued Executive Order 2024-55, directing superior courts (including the Clerk of Courts’ offices) in each county in the state to accept election-related applications until all polling places in the county are closed to voters on July 30, 2024 and November 5, 2024. The extended superior court hours will allow legal disputes regarding voting to be considered expeditiously.
Therefore, for the sole purpose of receiving election or voting filings, the Yavapai County Superior Court in Prescott will be open on July 30, 2024 and November 5, 2024, until all polling places in Yavapai County are closed to voters. Election matters requiring immediate consideration may be filed electronically or in person at the Superior Court Clerk's Office, Room 207, 120 South Cortez Street, Prescott, Arizona 86303. No other filings will be accepted from 5:00 p.m. to close of business on July 30, 2024 and November 5, 2024. Information on electronic filing is available at www.azcourts.gov/efilinginformation.
