Yuma County Special Primary Reminder
Yuma County is reminding all eligible voters about the upcoming special primary for Congressional District 7 (CD 7), set for July 15, 2025. To help ensure a smooth voting experience, the county encourages voters to familiarize themselves with important dates and polling locations.
Election Day Details
On Election Day, polling places will be open from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. Here are the locations:
- Martin Luther King Junior Youth Career Center – 300 S. 13th Avenue, Yuma, Arizona
- Yuma Main Library – 2951 S. 21st Drive, Yuma, Arizona
- Arizona Western College – Shaening Conference Center – 2020 South Avenue 8E, Yuma, Arizona
- Somerton Community Center – 805 W. Main Street, Somerton, Arizona
- San Luis Library – 1075 N. 6th Avenue, San Luis, Arizona
- Cesar Chavez Cultural Center – 1015 N. Main Street, San Luis, Arizona
Early voting for the special primary has already started and will continue until July 11, 2025. Voters can cast their ballots at the Yuma County Recorder’s office, located at 102 S. Main St. in Yuma. The office is open Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Notably, on July 11, 2025, it will stay open until 7 p.m.
Dropbox Voting Options
For those who prefer to drop off completed ballots, Yuma County provides 24/7 drop boxes at various locations. These drop boxes will be available until 7 p.m. on Election Day, July 15, 2025. Here are some of the drop-off locations:
