Yuma County Notifies Voters About Special General Election on September 23

Yuma County is sending out reminders to eligible voters about the special general elections for Congressional District 7 (CD 7) set for Tuesday, September 23, 2025. They’re encouraging everyone to get familiar with key dates and voting locations to ensure everything goes smoothly.

On Election Day, there will be six voting centers open from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m., and voters have the option to choose any of these locations.

Voting Center Locations:

  • Martin Luther King Junior Youth Career Center – 300 S. 13th Avenue, Yuma
  • Yuma Main Library – 2951 S. 21st Drive, Yuma
  • Arizona Western College – Shaening Conference Center – 2020 S. Avenue 8E, Yuma
  • Somerton Community Center – 805 W. Main Street, Somerton
  • San Luis Library – 1075 N. 6th Avenue, San Luis
  • Cesar Chavez Cultural Center – 1015 N. Main Street, San Luis

If anyone finds themselves unable to vote on Election Day, there will be emergency voting available on Saturday, September 20th, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Yuma County Recorder office.

For those who prefer dropping off their completed mail-in ballots, Yuma County has 24-hour drop boxes available at various locations. These drop boxes will remain open until 7 p.m. on Tuesday, September 23rd.
