FACT CHECK: Does Viral Video Show Maricopa County Workers Deleting 2020 Election Results?

According to a filing in Maricopa County Court, the employee installed a memory card in the voting machine and did not delete the results. The timestamp in the bottom right corner of the video shows 2022, not 2020.

That claim is false. Maricopa County Submission to court Officials have shown they were installing memory cards into voting machines rather than deleting election results. 2023 court documents read“Not only laughable, this claim is completely false. As Scott Jarrett explains in his statement, on October 14th, 17th, and 18th, the county conducted logic and accuracy tests. A new memory card containing the passed and certified election program was installed on each tally sheet.
