Following Friday's Supreme Court ruling on presidential immunity, left-wing media and commentators have fantasized that President Joe Biden will assassinate former President Donald Trump and other Supreme Court justices as an official act.
The ruling ruled that a president cannot be prosecuted for official acts taken while in office. Chief Justice John Roberts wrote in the majority opinion that the analysis of which acts in the indictment qualify as official acts “is best left to the lower courts.” President Trump appealed the four-count indictment he received on January 6, 2021 from Department of Justice (DOJ) Special Counsel Jack Smith alleging that he conspired to overturn the results of the 2020 election.
Several commentators have accused the Supreme Court of siding with Trump, with some even arguing that President Joe Biden should be allowed to assassinate him.
Nation Justice reporter Ellie Meistal argued that Biden could “do the funniest thing ever,” and was accused by social media users of suggesting Biden should deliver fatal blows to his political opponents.
Biden has a chance to do the most interesting thing ever…

He also argued that Republicans want the president to be “above the law.”
“Technically, I have to write something, but there's really nothing profound to 'add.' The President is above the law. This is what the Republicans want. They control the courts, and that's why they won,” Meistal wrote. “When I started talking about expanding the courts in 2016…this is why.”
Strictly speaking, I should write something. But I really have nothing profound to add. The President is above the law. This is what the Republicans want. The Republicans control the courts, so that's why they won.
Here’s why I started talking about expanding the courthouse in 2016.

Attorney Bradley P. Moss argued that the court granted the president “manifest immunity” to take military action against Trump and execute former White House chief strategist Steve Bannon, who was sentenced to four months in prison for contempt of Congress. The Supreme Court gave Biden explicit immunity to order the military to take action against Trump.
Today. Now.

According to the Supreme Court, President Biden can have the military execute Bannon in a prison shower tonight and avoid prosecution. https://t.co/Wts3EKCuaF

Harry Sisson, a prominent left-wing figure, argued that the decision would allow Biden to “send in the military to remove Trump and the Supreme Court justices.”
“According to the Supreme Court, Biden can send in SEAL Team Six and take them all out,” Sisson wrote. “He can also send in the military to take out Trump. He now has 'immunity' for his official duties!”

“We don't need to overstaff the Supreme Court anymore. We can just fire the people we don't like and confirm their replacements,” wrote another Twitter user. “We can move from 'lifetime appointments' to jobs that are too risky for anyone to take.”
We don't need to add more justices to the Supreme Court. We can just remove the ones we don't like and confirm their replacements. We can move away from lifetime appointments to jobs that are so risky no one will take them.

“So if Joe Biden declared today that the November election was canceled and ordered the military to remain in power, would that be an 'official act'?” journalist Aaron Ruper asked.[I]If President Biden declared today's Supreme Court decision an attack on democracy and ordered the indefinite imprisonment of Chief Justice John Roberts, would that be an 'official act'?

Users suggested Biden could launch “drone attacks” on President Trump and the homes of judges.
“President Biden can execute Supreme Court justices for treason,” said another. “He can attack Mar-a-Lago with drones. He can rape, rob and murder at will, all in the name of 'official acts.'”

All in the name of “public acts”I'm really sick of it.

“I urge Joe Biden to use the absolute immunity lawfully granted to him by President Trump's Supreme Court justices to do the 'official business' necessary to stop Donald Trump from becoming president,” wrote Dash Dubrovsky, an author and Biden supporter.

It is truly shocking that the Supreme Court has gone on record as giving the President the power to order SEAL Team Six to assassinate a political opponent. https://t.co/DX0730lCig

Police arrested a man on suspicion of attempting to assassinate Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh outside his home in Montgomery County, Maryland, in June 2022. The liberal media spent almost no time covering the incident, with MSNBC spending less than 15 minutes discussing it.
